About Me

I am a lover of Jesus, food enthusiast, hodophile, basketball junkie, and proud aunt of five beautiful girls. I wholeheartedly trust that God has called and prepared me to care for Christian leaders.

With an academic background in Christian Education and a heart for Christian leaders, I find great satisfaction in digging in God’s Word and developing strategies to progress the vision of those I serve.

While I find joy in my calling and the work that I do, my ultimate desire is to hear “well done.” I pray that my days will build a life that both my Father and I can be proud of.

why I write

I am a deep-thinking introvert. Writing has always been a safe place. A place where my words were received without judgement. At some point, I developed the courage to share the pieces of work that were bringing me so much comfort. Maya Angelou once said, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you.” I write because every single day, I am living out a piece of my story and every piece of my story is worth being told. Some days I do that over the phone with a friend, other days it’s sitting across from a mentor with a cup of coffee. But many days, it’s just me…writing. And I’ll tell you, those have been some of the sweetest days I’ve known.

“Writing is really a way of thinking–not just feeling but thinking about things that are disparate, unresolved, mysterious, problematic or just sweet.” – Toni Morrison
